I have a problem with Partition Expert not seeing my usb drive. I get the error message: usb-storage : host_reset () requested but not implemented.
My usb drive works fine with Partition Expert on a P4 1.8ghz machine I have but not on my new P4 2.8ghz. Any ideas?

    Hello oldpro,

Thank you for using Acronis products (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

Could you please clarify what Acronis product you use and its version? Please also let us know when exactly this error message occurs. Is it when you use the product under Windows or with the standalone version?

    Thank you.

It's Acronis PartitionExpert 2003 (build 286). The error occurs when I boot from the PartitionExpert CD at the blinking "_" before the program loads. The program still loads but it does not list my external usb drive. The external drive is a Fujitsu model # mhm2100at 10gb enclosed in a Sabrent model # sbt-eku25 usb 2 enclosure.

    Hello oldpro,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please update your copy of Acronis Partition Expert 2003 to the latest build (292) at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

After that please create a new bootable CD and try to boot your computer from it. If the problem persits please contact support@acronis.com and describe the problem briefly. It would be helpful to include the reference to this thread in your request.

    Thank you.
