How to allow printer through LnS
I cannot get a network printer to print while both application and Internet filtering are on. More puzzling: none of the advanced rules set sounded an alarm or registered a log entry (even though I set ALL rules to make audible alarms and create a log entry). How could the print command go through the whole rule set and not sound an alarm or create a log entry ?
Yes, spoolsrv.exe is authorized to access the network in the applications filtering window. When asked to sound an alarm when I ask it to connect (that is, when I try to print), spoolsrv logs an entry and sounds an alarm to the effect that its connection was authorized. But none of the Internet rules sounds an alarm.)
Any clue, anyone?
