Default Which firewall for this task to buy?

I host game servers. Sometimes we need to block some IP of users that using cheats.

I know their IP addresses...

Which firewall can help me to do that? Also I need more informations about its settings how to do that.
I am ready to buy a product that can help me to do that.

Also sometimes users change their last three digits of IP address so I need ability to block that too.

Thanks

Use your router ACLs.
Or try Protowall (www.bluetack.co.uk)
It blocks ip's only.
Have fun.

I bought D-link DI-707P because of that and on the end support told me that I can not do that

They said I can only block IP-s under LAN network.... to bad

Are there no banning features in the actuall game, surely that would make the most sense.

How big a list are we talking about?

You will need a rule based firewall if your router cannont handle this. The size of the list of IP's you wish to block could influence what your best choice would be.

Norman Firewall can block IP's and you can use an * as a wildcard for the last three digits (or other sets of digits).
