Am I the only one that gets bothered when they're typing and all of a sudden I get interrupted by the "nod update has been successfully downloaded". I'm all for getting notified when updates hit but can it be minimized or something?
What options do we have for not having it interrupt whatever Im doing at the moment to tell me it updated itself. ,.... yes I am aware of the "notify before d/l" settings and so forth but none apply to my question here

    1) good idea. I'll try change it to a few seconds. By the way, your graphic also landed me on something else - what about enabling "SILENT MODE"? Would I miss out on anything else besides updates?
    2) appreciate the time u spent putting the graphic together. What'd u use for the cool arrows & numbers? looks great!

Silent mode is the other way around it, though only if you manually check you are up-to-date at least once a day. I still like the idea of a quick notification, actually in my case it is long ;) :D

A great and simple program called SnagIt by TechSmith http://www.techsmith.com/

    Hope this helps…

    Cheers :D

I reckon you meant notifications like the bubble below. This feature will be introduced in version 2.13.0

That feature (balloon in taskbar) would resolve my issue - yes. Looking forward to the update.... hopefully soon :)
