Default iNSTALLING DRIVER Booting computer with external Acomdata USB 2.0 hard drive attached

Does anyone know how to set up my system so that it will boot up with the above drive attached? As it is, I need to detach it every time I restart my system. The reason this is such a problem is that I am also trying to install the driver for my PNY 256MB flash drive and every time I try something, I need to restart the computer. Does anyone have a solution for this problem also?

Hi Big Red welcome to the forum.....

We are really going to need more information to help you, can you tell us what type of computer/model number it is and what operating system you are using. What error are you getting when you try to boot up with the external USB drive attached.
