After reading the treads on the issue of "WINMGMT" starting when nod 32 is installed on a windows me operating system, I folowed it further and spoke to NOD 32 technical to see if this process could be removed. It does not look like it can and they gave me the following information.

"the process Winmgmt is triggered by the security center on WinXP SP2. There was a bug in evaluating a condition on Win9x version of NOD32 which has been fixed. The ammendment will take effect in version 2.13.0 (of Nod) available by the beginning of next year."

I hope this will be of use to anyone who is concerned

    Thanks
    grayson
