Get "error accessing server; try again later" message every time I try to access updates (running freeware version w/manual update). Is there a way to manually access updates from Spyware Blaster website (similar to LavaCool AdAware manual update access)? (Is this a gimmick to sell the Auto Update service?)

Hi lunasatic,

There could be a number of reasons why you are not able to update SpywareBlaster, but maybe reading through this thread might help resolve the problem:

SpywareBlaster 3.2 won't update

Also in the above thread, LowWaterMark explains about the "AutoUpdate" feature.

For manually updating SpywareBlaster, you can find the update links available in this thread:

SpywareBlaster Troubleshooting and Tips & Tricks

Let us know if the information in the above links help.

Regards,

snap

What firewall are you using? By any chance is it the Norton Personal Firewall (or Norton Internet Security) product?

Thanks,
