I have a dimension 8400 with a partitioned SATA drive. I created an image of the 60 GB active partition, burned the image to a DVD with RecordNow, then used the Acronis Boot CD to install this image on a 40 GB HD with 1 active partition. I can view the files on the 40 GB HD but am unable to boot from it on my dimension 8400 system. Any suggestions to get the 40 GB HD to run as my active (and only) HD on my system.

Is it listed in the boot list in the BIOS? What happens when it tries to boot?

Hello Steve,
Thank you for using Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing...cts/trueimage/). Please contact support@acronis.com regarding this problem and let us know the following information: 1) The full version number of Acronis True Image product you use. You can find it in the Help -> About dialog. 2) Please download Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to us. This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure. 3) Please describe what happens if you try to boot your computer from the cloned 40 Gb hard disk drive. Thank you.
