Default NOD32 Impact on System resources

On WinMe SONY laptop, I notice that available system resources drop from 83% (using NOD version 1) down to 68% using the new Beta 2 version. 15 points is an awful jump in system resource use. No other configuration changes to account for this. Anyone else notice this? I'm not sure that this is a problem, per se, since windows can function with less than 30%. But it could cause problems using when multiple programs that are also heavy on system resources.

Default Re:NOD32 Impact on System resources

You might wish to add your post to the bug report sticky thread above. Several 9x and ME users have reported a whopping hit on resources (approx 15% to 20%) when the NOD Beta is running. So you're evidently not alone in your experience.
