Default SpywareGuard working?

I just installed SpywareGuard (along with Blaster) and am using them with Firefox 1.0. How can I tell if they are working--especially S/Guard? There is an icon in the tray, but that's about it. Can I assume it is doing its job, or is there some test I can perform? I tried changing my FF home page and was able to with no warnings, etc. from anywhere.

Default Re: SpywareGuard working?

SpywareGuard's(SG) Browser Hijack Protection component....as far as the changes to the various Search reg keys and Start\Home page....are strictly for IE as is the Download Protection component. However....SG's Realtime Scanning Engine is not browser dependent.
