Firefox recognizes an RSS feed with an icon on the bottom of the browser window. I don't see that here. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/live-bookmarks.html
Hi Ronjor and Bubba! That sounds great! It also sounds ...eh, creepy. Isn't that like letting someone into your computer files? I thought that was why "they" say don't do live bookmarks? Or am I confusing live bookmarks with something else in the toolbar Wouldn't suprise me! Thanks in advance for any response! Marja
This is a very good RSS Feeder>>>> To get the latest version (0.9.5.1), either download the installer, or the zip-file. http://www.sharpreader.net/ Prior to running SharpReader, you will need to install the .NET Framework, version 1.1. If you do not currently have the .NET Framework installed, you can get it at windowsupdate, or here.>>>>> http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1/
A BIG Hi back to you Marja As i understand it, you will only see that icon if you have installed RSS when you installed Firefox ( there is an option to do so )......now there may be an extension...i just took a quick look and found none, but no time to search....work and all......... Can someone please address Marja's question about RSS security.......that is an interesting point for sure A good day/evening to all
I am pretty sure they are safe: http://www.npr.org/help/rss-faq.html and security focus uses them: http://www.securityfocus.com/rss/index.shtml I would think that your browser would use your proxie settings for the RSS feeds.
THANKS AJOHN! I signed out before I saw this thread, I will go check those sites out! Good to hear from you, Rainwalker, hope you have a very wonderful Thanks and Giving Day! Marja
