Exclamation Dr Web 4.32 help

I am using Dr Web 4.32 and I need a little help. I don't know any of the command parameters for setting up scheduling. They used to be included in the help file but aren't anymore. I want to set it up to scan my whole drive (all harddisk partitions). Also, I need to know the command parameters for scannng downloaded files. I have set up firefox to scan using drweb386.exe (dos scanner) but do not know the parameters to use. The scanner launches but does nothing.

I'm using these.

The command switch for scanning all fixed disks is *
See this thread for a more complete listing of command switches: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=51543

Also, here is more info from the DrWeb32.txt for 4.31 I saved.

Examples of typical tasks are given below.

1) Update - automatic update of Dr.Web, scheduled weekly for Monday at
10:15, launches DrWebUpW (update program) from the Dr.Web home
directory. Command-line parameters: /GO. It is assumed that the update
program is properly configured for updates via the Internet or your local
network.

2) Daily_Scan - launches the antivirus scanner DrWebWCL daily at 10:30 to
scan the G:\INCOMING folder which is used as a container for new files.
Command-line parameters: G:\INCOMING /GO /WA /HA /FM /TM- /TB-

3) Full_Scan - launches the antivirus scanner DrWebWCL periodically, on
Wednesday and Friday at 13:00, for full scan of memory and all fixed
drives. Command-line parameters: * /GO /WA /HA /AL

Lastly, I could email you the complete DrWeb32 text file if you wanted.

Just put that path in the command line. See #2 in my example above.

On a related issue, I am unable to scan a path that includes blanks (or at least I think that's what I think the problem is) ie: C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Desktop\Downloads

A check of the log files reveal that it tries to scan "C:\Documents" then "C:\and" then "C:\Settings" ....etc. etc. as if they were separate folders. Then again, it very well could be user error.

Also, I see in your first post that you are trying to run the DOS version of Dr Web. The DOS version is not meant to be run on a NT kernel so I'm not sure how effective it would be scanning XP. That's assuming you are using the computer in your sig, of course.

Edit: Yeah, my problem was user error (I hate when that happens ): From tech support....

Enter the long file names (using spaces between words) by enclosing them
in quotes :
"C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Desktop\Downloads"
