SpyWareBlaster not updating

HI,

I use XP pro at work and have put SpyWareBlaster on my machine at work, no problem. It is current and up to date, with the last update as being Oct 25 and I thnk the protection is 3208,

My home computer

XP home won't update to the Oct 25th update, it tells me it has been updated to the 7/7/04 and the protection is 3022. Each time I update it tells me the same thing.

I thought maybe it might be XP home it was having a problem with, so installed it on my sister-in-laws XP home computer, it updated OK to Oct 25th and to the 3208.



Any one know why this is not updating?



I should also say I use

Zone Alarm, which has permisons granted
Spybot
&
AVG
& once a week TrendMicro

mine woulnt update from 10/25 today so i hit alternate form and it gave me 11/8 updates.

Hi & welcome to Wilders. Do u have the latest version of Spywareblaster 3.2 installed? The UTD items should read 3213 which includes today's download.

Does ur firewall give Spywareblaster permission to access the internet?

Sorry to take to long in getting back to you.

Yes I do have my firewall giving Spywareblaster permission.

I find now that I have to do a manual update again for the 11/25 update.

Its worth it to have it.

P.S Yes it is version 3.2


I followed the links posted in this thread to get to the updates, but noticed the current updates are not posted there. It says the last time the page was upated at the bottom was Sept 25th, do you know where I can find the latest manual update?

when you hit the check for updates and look at top under options. see if it shows a mark next to either direct connection or through proxy. should only ahve one of those 2 with a mark. then select use alternate too. then try update . i had to have mine set for proxy and alternate to make mine work.
