PixelPup Media47.fastclick

Hi

When I am on the net, I notice on the START" bar of Windows such things as Media47.fastclick and shortcuts to people such as Dell Computers. Am I right in assuming that SpyBlaster should stop this sort of intrusion and if so why isn't it doing so. I have "enabled all protection"

Can anyone tell me how I can stop these from getting through.

Regards

Default Re: Media47.fastclick

do you have also, adaware se and spybot search and destroy 1.3.1TX? if so run them. on adaware run the first scan on fullscan mode. then subsequent scans can be done on smartmode. every month run it on full unless you really feel the need to run full scan more often. full will grab alot more junk than smart. if you dont have spybot get the 1.3 ver install it then get the 1.3.1TX ver. and install it overtop 1.3 immunize and get updates. the recheck immunize and immunize anything else it may have then run scan. javacool or one of the other most knowledgeable guys on this forum can tell you more about blaster than i.
