Default KAV 5 Personal and e-mail

I am trying to figure out if KAV 5 personal checks Thunderbird e-mail for both incomming/outgoing mail. I know AVG makes it easy and tags both as checked, but I do not know if KAV does or not.

Thanks,
Lon

Hi Lon & welcome to Wilders.

If you look at the headers of HTML-messages you'll find the following: X-Kaspersky: Checked
So in short KAV does tag your messages. KAV checks incoming messages, but not outgoing if your settings are set Recommended. Only in Maximum does it check outgoing too.
