Default OS Selector error message

I had been using OS Selector successfully with my Windows 98/XP system. However, I now get the error message "Failed to read from sector xxxxxxx of the hard disk x" whenever OS Selector starts or I boot from the bootable CD. After I click several times on the various options listed below this message, the Selector screen eventually comes up. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I do.
As I understand it, they can be ignored and are caused by other disk-like devices (eg. memory stick, compact flash, smart media etc readers) on your PC that the software is fooled into thinking, are disks drives. Apparently if you load media into the drives you don't get the messages, but we just ignore them.

Hello DaveJS,

Please contact support@acronis.com regarding this problem. Although these messages can be insignificant we should check this out.
