How effective is NOD32 in detecting trojans? Or to put it another way is it a waste of resources using a realtime trojan scanner along with NOD32. Could I safely get away get away just using TH as an on demand scanner?

    Windows firewall
    Nod32 v 2.12.3 using Blackspear's extra setting

It depends upon your Internet habits, but basically, yes. I would also suggest taking a look here for further discussion on security and how to make your system that much stronger, and here for more discussions.

    Hope this helps…

    Cheers :D
