Free mail with adds is (almost) as old as the Internet itself ...

Anybody want a gmail account? They are available only by invitation right now. The ads are small text (AdSense) advertisements. They do not come in the email. The concept of keeping all of your email in one box and searching is pretty nice. By the way, almost ZERO spam with gmail. Never use it for personal email (because of the computer scanning) - but it's actually quite intuitive. I only have access to three gmail accounts - so write fast if you want one. I thought I would try it before knocking it too hard.
