Passwords and swap files
Can passwords be written into swap files? If so how can I clean them out. What elese can be written in the swap files?

If you really need a swap file to keep your computer up and running have a look here: http://www.stack.nl/~galactus/remailers/wipeswap.html
I have the size of my swap file set to zero, but it takes a fair amount of RAM to achieve this or limits you in your possibilities to run a lot of applications. Regards, Pieter
