Question True Image Server 8 and RAID

I am wondering if anyone knows if v8 server works with RAID1 and RAID10?

I am using Ghost and when I restore images (see below) back to the 2650, i lose the RAID configuration and only get back the c: drive

The configuration is
PE 2650 and PV 220s RAID configuration

D1 c: = - Raid 1 Windows 2003 Server and Oracle 9i - 2
drives
D2 e: = - Raid 1 Archive Logs - 2 drives
D3 f: = - RAID10 Oracle DB files (in PV 220s) - 4 drives
D3 g: = - RAID10 Oracle Redo Logs (in PV 220s) - 6 drive

thanks

Hello Sjn --

Thank you for your interest in Acronis software!

Well, Acronis True Image Server 8.0 does support RAID in general, but with some controllers there are/might be some problems, so I'd advice to check first with the trial version of the software whether your RAID is recognized properly.

Thank you.

Question Re: True Image Server 8 and RAID

Hi Acronis Support,

Does the trial version allow you to perform a full restore?
In order to truly test if True Image 8 is compatible with a user's RAID setup, one would need to test both the backup and restore.

Hello Devinco --

Actually, it is not possible to test a restorem but generally of you get to the "Proceed" button (so all before it went well) it's 99.9% chance that the full version will do the restore correctly.

In that case we can discuss a possibility for providing a full version for the testing purposes.

Thank you.
