Looks like XP SP2 is usefull pretty quick:

NOTE: Currently known attack vectors do not work on Windows XP systems with SP2 applied.

Yeah, you read the report, but I just thought it's worth mentioning, since the whole world is hunting for bugs in SP2, instead of looking for the good stuff... (no I'm not going do some SP2'ing)
