Default general question

hi I just downloaded this program today, but how do I know if it is working for my pc? in the help menu it said,
SpywareBlaster does not need to remain open for its protection to be active!
does that mean I can close the program or only minimize it? but when I exit the program and check the system resources the program wasn't listed.
thanks

HI qdv... This is in wrong section and will probably be moved, but I can answer.

SpywareBlaster does NOT have to be running to have protection enabled.

Install, Update, Enable Protection [so it reads 0 ~zero~ Items have protection disabled] and then close [X] the program.

It sets killbits in the registry which stop any of the ActiveX /Restricted Sites listings and /Cookies [for IE/Firefox] that are listed in SWB from installing in the first place.

Just check for updates weekly.

Cheers, TAS
