can anyone tell me if this is a hoax
Hi
I received an email and aol spam controls put it in my spam folder but i read it and it said that i had sent someone an email that contained a virus( some fool) was the name.i had never heard of this address i supposedly sent an email to--anyway it said to update my virus scanner etc.i know i dont have a virus in the first place and secondly i never sent an email to this address.does anyone know what is going on thanks Rita

hello
i read the links from snowbound and ronjor about the some fool virus--and downloaded the tool to check for and remove it and i used it but it found no some fool on the computer--i didnt think i had any virus because i have norton installed up to date and wormguard and spyware guard and various other programs and i scan every other day to check.all i can figure its a hoax of somekind.thanks ronjor and snowbound for your replys Rita
