Default "Dodgy" mcafee updates

sorry if this post is missleading,

the other week our company had a LOT of trouble with mcafee upddates, i know things have smoothed out a little but did any one else have trouble in the way of mcafee throwing wobblies, windows crashing etc, if this isnt the place for it let me know and i shall move it. if you did experience this also let me know, I have a hunch it was the dats but am not entirely sure.

Nothing out of the ordinary the last couple weeks on my own personal usage. Didn't seem to notice anyone with problems at work so not sure... (Do you have an exact date?)

Since this is a question about an antivirus product, and not an update notice - this thread has been moved to the appropriate forum.

Regards,

snap

ok I think that the updates were 4362, the affected systems were 5 brand new dell optiplex 250 1gb ddr ram windows xp 80gig hdd p4 2.0GHz right the way through to very old socket 7's running 300MHz 3gig hdd 32 -125 meg ram.

the majority of our buisness was down until mcafee brought out another update the next day.
