Is it possible? Finally a realistic replacement for Windows?
Lycoris Desktop/LX, looks really good. My wife is in class now and networked with my computer, so I can't go experimenting. Anybody interested in trying this Linux based OS out? I really think it has potential. Take a look at it here: http://www.lycoris.com/ Click the take a look link.

I must say I only had a quick scan through but it looks good, is it a full OS or just an interface add on? It looks enough like windows not to seem totally unuseable but if it is a true os then I may give it more of a look.

I took most of the tour, but not all. As far as I know, it's a full OS. At one point, I read about it needing its own partition and that it is dual bootable.
I know, sometimes these websites leave out the most basic information. ![]()
