Quite big report. Results not totally in sync with what I had estimated.

avast not even listed under any recommendation. Ok. Someone might say i'm biased, but this test is load of BS...

some part are realistic, others are less.

i don't care of the recommendations since in all test labs it is based on the test lab point of view (or $$$)

just the individual sub-tests are informative (if we believe them)

Wow. I love this test. It shows results based on what type of user you are. It's too bad the test is probably more about Asian malware rather than western world malware. Being that I live in the western world I cannot completely relate to this test.

Trend Micro and Kaspersky seem like the solid choice in this test, no matter what type of Internet user you are.

Looks like Kingsoft bombed in the home market. No wonder they abandon the English version.

Their report clearly states that the test was done in February 2013. ;)

This looks like a On-Demand test rather than a real world one

Avast scored well in the test and got above 9 and odd and I still dont see why it isnt the recommended solution on their list, atleast according to the final conclusion chart and the other given charts, and somehow I cannot accept the final conclusion chart scores for avast because it is too low score atleast in accordance to the detection scores they gave in previous charts,it did better than AVG and some others and still AVG and some others got the tag of recommended and not avast

Tencent did badly and got the award,my question here: Why should I trust this? :)

Chinese test recommending chinese products that still fare badly in their test, look at the final conclusion chart towards the end which shows the final scores and you will know what I mean.

Wait,if this is a on-demand test we are missing evo-gen/filerepmalware that are now working only in real time for all shields and they arent in on-demand scanning, taking this test yet again with a pinch of salt and as a gospel of god ;)

You can read and evaluate this thing different ways...

..but overall, Trend Micro wins this one.

I think the URL blocking test is very interesting. I wonder why Emsisoft did so poorly here (normally being a very strong product).

Not surprised to see kaspersky and trend micro due to past record but McAfee is surprising, even in performance.
