This video demonstrates a little technique to be able to safely and securely install software into the sandbox and be able to run that "sandbox installed only" software in the sandbox. Normally you could run the installer in there but then you have no way of running the software afterwards.

This new comodo really makes it possible, as long as you use the trick that allows it to work easily.

I am extremely impressed with the new version 6.x Comodo Firewall. Has a much nicer feel. Anyone had any issues with it yet? I know the version is very new, so I expect some minor teething problems just around the corner.

No problems here, and I've been using cis 6 since it first came out.

Thanks for that link. It's worth saving because, even though it's easy, I'll manage to screw something up unless I watch it a couple of more times.

No problem. I know what you mean, I am always very careful when I play around with Comodo's settings because I have trashed my OS more than once experimenting with it lol. Now I pretty much know what to tweak and what not to. This new Kiosk/sandboxing is just incredible, I think.

I used Chiron's tutorial and haven't had a problem. It's caught a few things; I don't notice any slowdown, and I'm loving the kiosk and sandbox too. Now that I know I can play with things in it, I think I'm going to like it even more.

That link was a great find!!
