I had nav 2001 and my computer was infected with klez. After removing the virus and uninstalling norton 2001, i installed norton 2002. In the virus definitions tab there is no date and instead of that, there is a word "updating". Is there a way for norton to show properly the date of virus definitions?

Did you update the virus definitions without problems?
No indications of any errors? Regards, Pieter

Try this:
Shut down NAV, end task on all NAV files in the Ctrl-alt-delete window, and uninstall NAV once again. Reboot when you're asked to. Next, download and run Rnav.exe It helps remove leftover NAV registry keys. Now remove the NAV Program Files folder, if it's still there, and the VirusDefs folder in Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared. Now reinstall NAV, and see whether it works like it should.
