Default DSO exploits???

i was just curious to know what DSO exploits do.....i found 5 of them scanning with Ad-aware........are they malware?? browser hijackers?? any info would be greatly appreciated.....

Hmm, are you sure it wasn't the new version of Spybot S&D (v1.3) that found those? It (Spybot) has a bug regarding the settings it finds related to the DSO Exploit and is unable to fix them no matter how many times you try. There have been a lot of threads across a lot of forums these past couple weeks about this. There is a big thread that explains what those settings are, when they are not important (as long as you are patched from Microsoft Windows Update), and even work-arounds if you don't want to see those findings anymore - all at the Spybot Forum:
