Hi tkle90,

Can you download :

http://tools.zerosrealm.com/dllfix.exe

Doubleclick it and install in folder of choice but on the root drive, most likely C:\

1.Run start.bat and press option 1. A search will start

'output.txt' will be created in the folder , copypaste contents here

Thnx!

Cheers,

Default Re: Logfile of HijackThis (CWS trouble)

Ok thnx

Proceed with the following :

run start.bat again and choose option 2.

Hit '1' and enter dll name manually :

C:\WINDOWS\System32\WINJ.DLL and proceed

Then download and run AdAware :

http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ (make sure you have latest updates) and run it.

Fix the entries it lists

Finally run CWShredder :

http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/~mer...CWShredder.exe

Open -> 'fix' -> click 'next'

Then make sure you update XP and IE to the latest patches at windowsupdate.com

Hope this helps

Cheers,

Default Re: Logfile of HijackThis (CWS trouble)

Hi tkle90,

First make sure Windows and IE are fully updated.

Download and unzip: http://www.rokop-security.de/main/do...p=getit&lid=59
Then close as many programs as possible and click *Desinfektion starten*

Your computer wil reboot and start with the same program.
Close it and run HijackThis again. Post the new log.

Regards,

Pieter

Default Re: Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7 after running rokop-security

Hi tkle90,

Do another scan with AdAware as described here:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=15913

It should at least warn you about this:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,HomeOldSP = about:blank

Have it fix that and read: Why did I get infected in the first place

Regards,

Pieter

It's human to make mistakes. It's even more so to blame the computer for it.
