Hello Wilders,
I've purchased a 3TB External Drive (Seagate Expansion) yesterday. After connecting the drive with my system I formatted it and deleted the volume in Computer Management section. After deleting the volume I found that I got two unallocated spaces. One is 2048.00 GB and another is 746.52 GB. When I tired to format the second one which is 746.52 GB, I am unable to do that. No option to get that 746.56 GB unallocated space. I am having Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit Edition. Mother Board: Intel DG33 FB CPU: Core2Quad Q6600 Is there any way to get that 746.52 GB Space? Attached is the screenshot for your reference. |

Delete the 2048MB partition and then make one partition.

And initialize the disc as GPT.

Yes did the same. But unfortunately Panda USB vaccine is unable to vaccine the GPT partitioned discs. Even tried to vaccinate it through BitDefender USB Vaccine but all in vain. |

Boot from your Windows 7 Installation DVD and navigate to the Partition page, Then delete the 3GB Partition, and create the Partition again. If Windows tells you that it may create a seperate partition etc..etc... cancel, then type in 100MB size and create the partition, then extend it and format it Problem solved
