Anyone have a screenshot of this. Did they change the GUI for this?

With all the changes lately, I wonder if their real-time protection has improved.

Typically the new builds are pushed out via automatic update a few days after the standalone installers become available.

I've been waiting a few days since 5.5 went to public and yet I haven't had any notifications in my tray. It's the first time that I'm missing the program update notification.

The problem is that if I install SAS 5.5 on top of my 5.1 it asks me to uninstall the previous version. I'm not a big fan of uninstalling security apps because it could break my system.

Is there an easier way to force the update?

Try closing SAS, starting it again using "Run As Admin", and then checking for updates.

Yes, I got the same...so I let it update, but now it says I have version 5.5.1012.

Yes, that would be more recent than 5.5.1006 You're good to go.
