Windows 7 God Mode Tool version 2 has been released - 16 Aug 2012

One of the secrets of Windows 7 that is undocumented by Microsoft is the secret option known as God Mode.

GodMode is simply a hidden control panel that contains everything about windows 7 configuration options and settings, all located in one place plus additional features that are not easily found in the ordinary Control Panel.

This utility will either enable or disable this functionality. When enabled, it will create a shortcut to the God Mode window on a users desktop. When disabled, this shortcut will obviously be removed.

Changelog:

Version 2:

- Cosmetic changes; GUI is much smaller.
- New icon.
- GodMode can now be enabled and disabled without having to close the application.
- Added About form.
- Source code has been cleaned up and is now much simpler.
- Source code is commented to explain various parts of the code to beginners and those interested.

Wow! learn something new every day.One of the poster said if you bring up the control panel and type s in the search is the same.I can't try it right now as I am not on a windows platform.Thanks FanJ

This needs a tool? Right click and create a new folder and name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} no software required. I still hesitate to call it God Mode. It is nothing more than a collection of shortcuts. Handy yes but not really a "mode".

I checked it briefly in the vm and I agree with Jack.

I've tried it once a year ago and wasn't impressed at all. Nothing to take home

gpedit.msc is all I need
