I read people are having problems with either not installing, or losing (spelling?) their Internet connection after using the website blocking.

i tried this in a VM and i couldnt get it to work. It acted like a portable app (didnt go through an install process) then when it finally opened my internet wouldnt work.

Strange,it appears to be working ok here

If it's effective it's a keeper for me.

Same. Besides this, it just adds a load of entries into the hosts file (1.3MB). Don't bother with this one, imo.
