Default Will placing Sandboxie and it's process in PROTECT actually break the Sandboxie Sec?

Just wondering if placing sandboxie and it's processes in the PROTECT mode might enhance the Sandboxie protection or break it?

Since currently all the browsers that are fired off via Sandboxie don't display the LOCK in the W icon in my taskbar so they are not protected against keyloggers.

And yes those browsers are set to PROTECT in W.

I personally would advise against that...at least for "protect" mode.

Now if you're talking about "monitor" mode, that's nothing to worry about. Webroot may automatically place new versions of SBIE in "monitor" mode for a short evaluation time.

It would probably cause problems considering what Sandboxie does. I would advise against it.

But I'm correct as far as the Monitor mode being okay, right?

Ok, then how do I go about making sure that I see the LOCK on the W when browsing to an HTTPS site?
My HTTPS are maxed out in terms of protection in ID protection but the lock doesn't appear. I browse in both IE and Chrome but both are in Sandboxie. So I want secure screen capture free browsing when browsing those sites and the security that Sandboxie provides.

Do I have to choose either or?

Essentially yes. Fundamentally incompatible technologies.

Exactly - by design, Sandboxie won't let WSA see inside the session to determine when to protect it.
