Default IDair's new fingerprint reader captures prints from 6 meters away

I wonder if there is any technology available that could "fuzz" fingerprints as a reliable way to protect yourself from this privacy intrusion - i.e. one you would wear on your finger tips and be invisible (just thinking outside of the box)! Maybe this would be a new application for the breaking invisibility cloaking research with an on-off switch in the form of a coating that could provide the "fuzz" and be easily washed off.
