I've recently bought 'Look n Stop' & running it with WSA Complete.
My question is as they seem to run happily here together OK as it seems with others on this forum, do I have to make any changes to WSA? I don't need LnS on my two other PC's protected by WSA but this PC does get some robust use & although it could seem a little paranoid adding secondary firewall but I'm quite happy to pay for it. I've had a look round & I hope I haven't either posted in the wrong section or a duplicate post, I'm a little new around here. Thanks... |

I use that setup and it works fine since I been using LNS from 2005 and I paid only the one time but the support for LNS is unsure because Frederic has not been around! But if LNS will not work in Win 8 I will just use Windows Firewall & WSA-E. ![]() TH

Thanks for that, it's unlikely that Win 8 will reside on this PC anyway, LNS does have a somewhat 'rustic' interface but does seem to work well.
Question sorted. |

It's light as a feather and as a pure firewall it is very strong. I use the advanced rules and only made about two changes to them. Runs very smooth with my WSA-Essentials...

Thanks, still playing around with the advanced settings, I like the low memory footprint ~ No fancy interface = Less CPU cycles I think.
