Drive is recognized but can't copy any files into it?

I'm running NTFS for Mac 9.5 on Mac OS 10.7.4. I had an old external drive and this used to work fine occasionally. I now have a new drive (the old one got stolen) and even though my Mac recognizes this drive in Finder, I can't copy any files onto it. Please help!!
