VSS = Volume Shadow Copy
I read conflicting accounts on different www's about vssadmin being able, or not, to delete selected System Restore points, amongst other things. Is this true ? I was able to launch vssadmin through CMD, but that was all ! I had noted various commands listed on those www's, but none appeared to be accepted ? Is this possible, or not, & if so how ? TIA Using XP/SP2 for the above test.

In Windows 7 I see the following options:
Delete Shadows; List Provides; List Shadows; List ShadowStorage; List Volumes; List Writers; Resize ShadowStorage |
