Default Samsung Galaxy Tab and printing

My neighbour just purchased one of these and asked me how to print using her uSB printer (currently attached to her old desktop).
As i am not familiar with tablets I could only suggest she purchase a USB adaptor - then she could plug in her printer. Is there some other way ?
