Default Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.61.0.1400

Hi all

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.61

DOWNLOAD: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products

Alternatively, you may also click the Check for Updates button on the Update tab of the software.

Improvements:
1. Up to 25% faster Quick scans for 64-bit operating systems.
2. Chameleon usability enhancements.
3. Enhanced reliability of program updates with additional security checks.
4. Password command line enhancements (paid version only).

Issues Fixed:
1. Scheduled scan logs now include accurate protection status.
2. Context menu 'Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware' now displays in selected language.

i wonder if mbampro will add some sort of proactive protection such as hips/behabiour blocker?

I would think not. It is a complement to full blown anti-malware/anti-virus software. Plus it would make it bloated and cause issues with other software.

it will be nice to have a sort of complete solution as it is even stronger than some antiviruses i know

Hahaha J, yes I know. Even so its best they don't go that route IMO. Updated from beta to this final version without issues.

Updated on two computers without a problem.
Reboot and database update required.
MBAM Pro runs realtime on my machines.

Running MBAM real time here as well.A couple of days ago I tested a Rogue AV to run its scan and MBAM Killed it dead.Not a single trace of it.

Chameleon is a sort of MBAM version of R-Kill that is built in.

The scenario is that you are infected and cannot run certain things you could go start-all programs-mbam-tools-chameleon and follow the prompts by clicking on each one in turn.

The actual things the buttons represent can be seen inside the chameleon folder of the mbam program files.

I had actually forgotten about Chameleon, stapp.
I'm glad you posted about it.
