Default Upgrade of 2.7 via Popup Window for business users

I currently have NOD32 version 2.7 installed on my computers, configured to update from a local mirror which is maintained by RA version 4.0.138.0 running on my 2003 server. If my users elect to upgrade through the "End Of Life Pop-Up Window" will all of the proper procedures take place? I.e. will 2.7 be uninstalled and will the link to the mirror be configured correctly in the new version.

Thanks
John

Default Re: Upgrade of 2.7 via Popup Window for business users

As far as I know, the process is this:
  1. The user receives the upgrade reminder 2.7 pop-up notification.
  2. Business users click "I am a business user".
  3. The user is directed to the 2.7 End of Life webpage:
  4. For users installing/upgrading to servers, we recommend contacting Customer Care or your Partner, distributor or local ESET office.

For non-server installations, the user can manually upgrade themselves following the recommended process in the following Knowledgebase article:
Since this is a manual upgrade process, all settings will need to be configured as per a typical installation.
