KAV/KIS 2013 Beta - Final

Update on current status:

Build 11.0.0.3370 has been set as Technical Release (code frozen, all changes are done via patches on update servers). The 11.0.0.3370 install package provided on devbuilds is from beta branch, not from release branch. Wait for it to appear on official product update servers if you want to install a release/non-beta 11.0.0.3370 build.
Release of 2013 11.0.0.3370 is set somewhere in August according to several sources.
Patch A is being tested for 11.0.0.3370 http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=239099

A new build has been released from Maintenance Pack 1-beta branch: http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/...3/13.0.1.4067/
13.0.1.4067 MP1 integrates patch A from 11.0.0.3370 (MP0) and adds support for Win8 plus some other changes. MP1 is set to release simultaneously or shortly after Win8 is released. MP0 won't support Win8.

I doubt there is a release date that has been determined yet.

I am a bit confused myself that there was a TR and then a Patch A and then they moved into testing for the MP1. I don't know if they are moving froward with the branch that was the TR or if all efforts have been moved to the MP1.

All effort that has been put into MP1 can also be retroactively applied to MP0 in the form of bugfix patches- if they see a need for it, of course.

I've tested final version (3370 with patch a) for partner since June without problems, all newer beta-testing ver. are focus on Windows 8.

That way you will know that it's been properly tested and verified... while I can confirm the installer kis13.0.0.3370en_TR_20120606.exe seems to be problem free (I've used it for several days) the newer installer (with valid dig. sig.) provided by thanhtai2009 caused a BSOD (KL driver) during clean install. Caution advised.

are you sure? I've installed on 2 PC (XP x86 & 7 x64) & many members in my forum also installed it without any problems

ftp2.kasperskyftp.com accept commercial activation code, you can free upgrade from 2010/2011/2012 act. code to this version

The changelog had mentioned reduced database size....2012 use to require around 100mb after 1st installation.......what's the situation now?

Core-bases is about 85MB with 13.0.0.3370.0.978 before first run
