OS X AV & Anti Maleware

What AV or Security software are OS X users running these days? On some forums people say, "OS X doesn't have viruses", but I don't agree and want to be proactive and protect my machine. I am sure there are documents to harden OS X which can help, but having a centralized interface would be great.
