Are there any issues with the servers/service provider?

At first, I couldn't even access the forum. I kept getting Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out..

Then, I used the service Down For Everyone Or Just Me, and according to that service, Wilders Security Forums was down.

After a while I was able to access the forum, but ~ minute to minute, I get Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out. all over again.

Yeah, it's been the same with me, I've had similar 'time-outs', I even checked 'Down For Everyone Or Just Me?' & got the same as you did. I blame the service provider gremlins. ;)

I usually get "Connection Timed out" when I first boot-up I just refresh the page but sometimes it is due to my ISPs re-booting my connection/account because of poor maintenance (my cable light flashes fast, but the last couple days it has been good :) )

    Hi All

For a couple of months now I have been having difficulty in getting on to the Wilders web site.

It takes ages to load up web pages, sometimes not at all. Yet I can access other websites without problem.

I am UK based and it is 0918 hours as I write this reply. Sluggish is not the word!!!

The problem seems to be from morning until late afternoon UK time, then things improve dramatically. I REPEAT I CAN access other web sites without problem.

Is there a problem at Wilders end?

    Thanks

    Terry

Perhaps if you run "tracert wilderssecurity.com" from the command line it may give some clues for admin here to work on.

Yes I tried 5 mins ago, and the site didn't even load then.

But now it loaded just fine, and here I am writing this :doubt:

Seems normal (loading/page rendering) here this morning. Will see how it goes later on.
