Default Eset False Positive

Hello,

I apologize in advance if this subject has already been discussed.

Our company distributes software on a very large scale and have been identified by ESET as distributing malware a couple of weeks ago.

We have emailed them according to their instructions and also tried calling them up directly to their local offices and global offices with out any luck.

I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction of how we can resolve this issue as it is harming our business.

Thanks in advance!
Jovelle.

If you submitted as per
http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN141

and you call as you said then persevere in contacting them

Unfortunately, the name of the detection / software in question was not mentioned. However, I assume the detection is correct as FPs are fixed immediately.

If the detection is actually correct there's no sense in continually attempting to contact ESET unless the software is revamped and the potentially unwanted behavior removed.

Of course especially if that fact is communicated back to whoever emailed. Otherwise, how will they know
