Seriously, who the hell would want to use CA antivirus? And what's worse, you have to enter credit card so after 6 months are gone, you keep on paying their rubbish AV. Stay away ppl.

Installing CA will be worse than being infected by 99% of the malware out there. BTW- is CA now developed by a different company?

If they actually paid me to use this I would refuse. There was a time some years ago when it was a fairly acceptable product. Like when Bill Clinton was in his first term as President. Boy am I showing my age...

I've never had a good experience with CA. Their products always seem buggy and very difficult to uninstall. I've not liked CA all the way back to when they bought out Tiny Personal Firewall. After their purchase of the company CA froze all updates and help for TPF. Once the licenses expired CA began to integrate it into their CA security suite. That move was doomed from the beginning. All that was going on about the same time some CA execs were sent to prison. They changed their name to CA for a reason. I am not certain but I believe at one point they moved their corporate headquarters (to India?) because of legal problems in the US.

I've been running beta and 'GM' of TD8 since the testing period began. (9 days to go).
TD7 was truly horrible. TD8 retains the cryptic UI but is amazingly now largely bug free, i.e. they've fixed nearly every one of my criticisms However, if the only trial is by way of a money back guarantee after you've signed up, your money will probably be better spent elsewhere.
