NOD32 Signature Update Notification
Presently, I am not at any of my PC's with NOD32 installed on them. Question: Is it possible to turn off the 'Signature Update Notification'? My wife is driving me nuts. I explained to her about the signature update notifications being totally harmless. She refuses to listen to me. Each time she sees the signature update notification, she thinks that there is a Virus trying to infect the PC and quickly shuts down the PC. This has been a routine occurrence for a long time. This morning she did the same thing and the rapid PC shutdown seems to have triggered NOD32 saying that it detected what it thought to be some sort of Redirect Trojan. The Firefox web browser is always forced to sandbox with full access and start/run restrictions in place (Also, automatically delete sandbox contents). In my opinion, there was no actual infection since the NOD32 Malware Detection notification did not take place until the PC was in the process of being rapidly shut down. I told her to leave the PC off until I get home. If I can turn off the signature update notification it would be very helpful. Thanks in Advance.

Yes. Enter advanced setup -> Update -> Update, check 'Do not display notification about successful update'

I see that it was a False Positive just after the update. The symptoms and timing match the False Positive reported in this Thread:

You may suppress various pop-ups via this ESET KB article
You may also set a user account for your Wife, if you wish - this way she would not see your settings and vice-versa. Regards,
