TrojanHunter 5.5 has now been released!

Changes/New features:

* Improved registry cleaning
* Decreased startup time for TrojanHunter Scanner and TrojanHunter Command Line Scanner
* You can now only run one instance of TrojanHunter Scanner at a time (if you try to start another, it switches to the running instance)
* Improved detection of cloaked zip files
* Splash screen does not stay on top if you change to another window while TrojanHunter loads
* Fixed bug where LiveUpdate would sometimes hang

In the download link I have changed http into hxxp to avoid a direct download link.

Actually the new version has been already available for a little while. But due to a possible problem with LiveUpdate on Win 7 systems, Magnus has uploaded a new setup file today (2 Dec 2011; maybe depending on your time-zone) which fixes that. That setup file has the same version and build number. So, in case you already had the new one installed and had problems, install the newer one.

TrojanHunter V5.5 Build 1002 - Unsure of exact date this was released

To Upgrade:

1. Save your License.tlf file.

2. Uninstall the old version of TrojanHunter.

3. Search for any folder with the word TrojanHunter in the folder name and DELETE any folder found.

4. Install TrojanHunter V5.5.
NOTE: When the Install wizard reaches the last window and before you click on "Finish", uncheck the options to start THGuard and TH scanner. Then click on "Finish".

5. Move your License.tlf file into TrojanHunter 5.5 folder located at C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86).

6. Run LiveUpdate to obtain the latest rulesets.

7. Now run THGuard.exe and TH scanner GUI.

8. Set up your desired options in THGuard.exe and TrojanHunter scanner GUI.

9. Run a Full Scan with TrojanHunter scanner.
