Here is a review of ten AVs by Maximum PC. They are not the most in-depth, but Max-PC is credible IMHO.

Interesting. But like you posted, not in-depth reviews. However, I would trust them more than I would trust, let's say PCMag reviews. They [Maximum PC] are more professional.
By the way, ESET did poorly in THEIR review. Bottom line, the most important statement in that whole review was: Quote:

Interesting, read it completely
The only problem is that on some AV's they gave lots of details regarding the tests and if they failed etc, and on other they barely said anything about it ![]()

Not very comprehensive, but still ! Be better if they said how many nasties they threw at them All, & Exactly what they were. Also it "sounded" as if they visted different nasty www's to get infected on different AV's, "probably on different days ? If so = not a fair or accurate test =
Don't know why they didn't mention that Avast/AVG/Avira all have paid versions. Or why they didn't test those ?
